LEGISLATIVE ITEMS

I. S. 1728 - SENTRI Act (Chairman’s Mark) - intended to improve voter registration and voting opportunities for military and overseas voters (Cornyn, Schumer).

II. S. 1937 - Elections PREP Act – requiring state and local election officials to prepare for emergency or natural disaster scenarios and providing access to federal funding for the development of contingency plans (Schumer).

III. S. 1947 - Government Publishing Office Act - designating the Government Printing Office (GPO) as the Government Publishing Office and the Public Printer and the Deputy Public Printer as the Director of the Government Publishing Office and the Deputy Director of the Government Publishing Office, respectively (Klobuchar, Chambliss).

IV. S. 2197 - Senate Stationery Bill – a bill to repeal certain requirements regarding newspaper advertising of Senate stationery contracts (Shaheen, Hoeven, Schumer, Roberts).
